Covid Response

Deep Cleaning

We have been very busy preparing our surgeries, deep cleaning ready for our reopening. Each surgery will the be deep cleaned between every patient, ensuring that every surface is as clean as can be to prevent transmission of COVID-19.

Hand Hygiene

All our staff will be washing and disinfecting their hands throughout the day. Also patients will be asked to disinfect their hands as soon as they enter the practice.

Temperature Checks

All staff and patients will be screened when they arrive at the surgery, to try and pick up anyone that may have COVID-19 symptoms. When you arrive the nurse will check your temperature.

Social Distancing

To help minimise contact with other patients, we will ask you to attend alone (except if you attend with children or vulnerable adults), you will need to arrive at your appointment time, try not to come in too early. Please call our receptionist when you arrive to let them know you are here, you will then wait outside the practice, until we call you in.

Air Purification

We have invested in state-of-the-art Air Purification Systems and Extra Oral Suction machines to help clean the air around us, again helping to minimise the risk of spread of COVID-19.

PPE

The staff will look very different when you arrive at the practice, as well as normal gloves and masks, they will all be wearing Respiorators, Visors and Gowns. You will also be given a face mask to wear once you enter the practice.

Staff Training

All our staff have been updating our training in new cross infection techniques, to help us keep you safe.

Video and Phone Triaging

Due to the limited number of appointments that will be available, we will have a dentist available every day to help triage and speak to any patient that has a problem via telephone or video consultations.
